he client had recently purchased this 3 storied townhouse and the unruly garden needed taming. Even though it was a small space it was overgrown and as an outdoor room seriously lacked appeal. The solution was to keep an existing lovely Cercis candensis, Forest Pansy tree, one of the two ponds with water lillies and goldfish, and to rip out the rest. New decking was installed, with lighting and a pared back but modern planting palette.
